(800) 834-2070.

Be prepared to answer the following questions:

• Physical address location for service or meter number
• Previous location/account number where you had service with Mountaineer Gas
• Name on the account including a middle initial
• Spouse or roommate name if appropriate
• Contact telephone numbers
• Mailing address
• Date of birth
• Social security number
• Future date someone can be available to allow access if gas service is off
• If new construction, driving directions and name/address of nearest neighbor
• Plumbing/Heating contractor and phone number if applicable
